     @Tactical This is why I gave up on having friendships that aren’t based on family. No matter what, guys disappear when they get a wife. You ARE taking time away from her, and if the guy doesn’t have a lot of free time, she can have a point.

     I just got tired of having dudes flake on things that take a lot of money or prep, like you’re all set up waiting after a 4 AM road trip, have the trailer, and you’re waiting to pick him up to go dirt biking only to have his wife tell you “no he can’t come today, I need help picking out a nightstand at IKEA”

     ugh. Most of us had poor role models for male to male friendships in our parents.
