     The slides are a lot more extreme than that, but if that's bad enough, talk with your wallet. There's not really much more than either of us can do about it.

     The localization directly alters the material at the source now, so even if you've taken the time to learn Japanese you cannot avoid the censorship with newer games anymore. They're not simply censoring everything for the overseas release, they're straight up telling the devs "no, we can't put this in" from the get-go, so that they don't have to censor it later.

     I do, and I mean I'll gladly keep playing older games, plenty of those I have yet to play (and replay in Japanese this time). But the problem is that these companies are backed by ESG money. I'll keep not buying them, but in this case "voting with your vallet" doesn't really have a big enough impact.
     
     Anyway, modern gaming can rot in hell for all I care, but pretending that all this is not happening is just stupid.

     Yeah, that's easier said than done. Either way, I wanna play games, not make games. I'm not saying that "people should just give up because it's pointless". I am doing what I can, no matter how little the impact is, by not supporting this shit and instead supporting games that don't cater to all this shit. But as I've said before, the problem is the ESG money they get for doing this shit.
