   “Other people’s birthdays are important to me” is much better, ignore your own but be the one to send someone a little message thanking them.

   Can’t imagine what kind of soft, carefree life you’d have to even care about the diff. in cakes…sounds high maintenance

     No. I have a family to share either with but it is still depressing. I know that means the clock is ticking down on my life. I feel the aches and pains that weren't there a year ago or even 5 years, I feel the missing years and wonder if I will actually get to accomplish the things I want to accomplish before my ticket gers punched, so on and so forth. I guess for some people their family makes it better, tolerable, but not to me.

     I also really dislike birthdays and the constant reminder my impending doom looms closer without anything to show for it after so many years.

     Not only that but who the hell wants to remember that they're another year older. They've lost another year of life to the retarded grind that is forced upon us is we want to eat. Another year closer to being put in the ground.
     
     I hate my birthdays and have told my family I would rather just ignore it.
