@MaleGoddess My test for whether or not a game is actually good (and it holds true for basically all media):
If people are still talking about it 2 years from now, it might be worth trying
Everyone buys into the hype because nobody likes being the only kid on the street who isn’t getting to play with the new shiny, but everyone will finish the game and lose all interest in it in about 2 months anyways.
@mischievoustomato@MaleGoddess THe last game I played was…..one of those call of duty ones w/ the space fighting, played for about an hour and lost interest. At least that’s the last I can recall
>Cartoonish, immersion-breaking levels of Forced Diversity that puts Jew York to shame. >Refugees belonging to an evil, Satanic race are totally good people guyz! >Almost all the female characters are primarily physical fighters, almost all the male characters are primarily spellcasters. >After all the degenerate gay sex the game tries to nag or trick you into, and after even trying to push hardcore Femdom/Pegging on you, you're only allowed to get the "Girlfriend Experience/ASMR" with a cute, feminine Drow girl at a fucking brothel. >EVERYONE is degenerate and sex-obsessed - well, everyone you DON'T want to have sex with at any rate.
@MaleGoddess You probably heard what everyone hates about it, so will tell you what's good: it is the mechanics.
Its D&D, you have to really make an effort to fuck up the gameplay when all you need to do is digitalize a tabletop game that's already been digitalized 30 times already, so the gameplay is great.
