   ✨ Opt-in `indexable` search support has landed in Pixelfed!

   This means we'll be compatible with Mastodon's new #fullTextSearch feature, and it is opt-in so you have to navigate to Settings -> Privacy and then enable "Include public posts in search results"!

   We do not support full text search yet, but it's on the list ⚡

     @smallcircles Yes Mastodon #fullTextSearch will be opt-in as well from our understanding!

     We're following their lead on this even though we don't support full text search yet.

     I don't know yet if Mastodon's search is opt-in as well. Hope so. It should be the natural default on these things. Thank you, Pixelfed!

     @pixelfed does this mean searching for text that isn't hashtagged? That would be very useful.
