     First because i think it looks Nice and seccond because other cultures also depict someone like that as some sort of higher being

     that said, I don't want anyone justifying race worship via Jesus looking like me. Christ was not a Germanic, nor was He a Celt, nor Slav. I'll stick with icons of the Man to tell me how he looked, thanks

     @Federale @SuperLutheran I think it's a bad comparison because the implication is that the image on the left is wrong because the colors are wrong.
     But if the image on the left were color-corrected by the image on the right, it would still be a deliberately malicious picture of Jesus with a subtly crazed and stupid look on his face.
     Machismo repeated this.

     Sometimes I keep a framed photograph of Jesus in my passenger side, and even fasten the seatbelt on it.
     
     I just do it because I think it's funny.
