     It's been something some have speculated about for awhile now. So far the summer variant was a total dud, low hospitalization rates. It is still possible this variant could cause some problems but jones is an alarmist. Really no question about it these fucks would love an excuse to lock us down again. Not sure they'll get it though

     We've been at baseline levels of total mortality for a while now. There really isn't a pandemic any more, and no indications of any new variants meaningfully changing that. And at this point the general public doesn't trust health officials enough to gain any cooperation even if there were something.
