     @Shadowman311 @Tripp @professionalbigot69 I think this is a product of a massive population balloon as well. For all the jokes about “billions must die”, I don’t think people will realize how little death will phase them with it starts happening all over the place.

     I read some diaries from old ancestors in the barren American west, and they wrote about their own kids passing away as though it were Tuesday. I think we’re at a point where people are going to act the same way, like those liveleak videos of chinese gooks getting gibbed and the whole city just walks over them like nothing happened.

     @veff @Shadowman311 @Tripp @professionalbigot69 TBH for a time the most guilt-inducing thing is the fact that you just don’t care. For all the weight that 1st world living gives to death, the more you’re steeped in it, the less it impresses you.

     Only when you have a hand in ending the undeserving do you really stay up at night over it. Unless, of course, you’re terrified at the idea of being thrust down to hell for your actions the moment you die. There’s that, too, I guess.
