Yes.

@SpoopyAnon It's also competing against this note now:

The justice works on the assumption that after punishment you're gonna avoid doing that shit again, because you don't want to get the punishment again. But sounds like you want to throw that away, and pretend that no one ever can change their ways. At that point you might as well kill everyone, cause everyone in society will intentionally or accidentally break a law at some point.

@scarlet @ForbiddenDreamer @SpoopyAnon I think pedos can be thrown away, and it's not like a murder victim gets to return to life after his sentence is up (it sounds like he didn't serve his full sentence anyway).
-
@scarlet @SpoopyAnon So he should just have walked after being released from prison, free to rape and murder more 12 year old girls?
-
@SpoopyAnon
If he was convicted, he deserved time in prison (a lot of time), not lynching. Full stop. Mob justice doesn't solve shit. Cancel culture is effectively mob justice at it's core, and it has achieved nothing but slowly destroy America.

@caekislove @SpoopyAnon
It implies that the lynching was justified because of the crimes he committed. You can pretend it doesn't if you want.
-
@scarlet @SpoopyAnon I love how shitlibs aren't even advocating censorship based on what people are saying anymore, but based on their psychic reading of the hidden motives of the person making the speech. 🙄

@scarlet @SpoopyAnon The part of the tweet the community note was addressing was when they said "he was unjustly convicted of murder in a trial marred by antisemitism". Nothing in the note or the links in the note endorsed the lynching (though I endorse it because fuck pedophile murderers).
