     I still have trauma from an ex insisting on buying a salvage kia soul because she wanted to prove me wrong so she paid almost as much as the same car new….for a salvage title because “it only had the stereo stolen, otherwise it’s perfect”

     She only saved like $500 if that, and it had a totally nigged up rear end from the accident it was in. She was pissed because another girl asked me to go with her car shopping and bought the first thing I gave my stamp of approval to

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @Granwalder @PvtProperty i don't know how people still fall for buying a cheap sub 70k ferrari from the 90s or 2000s, there's already enough horror stories about ECU replacements for the 360 Modena and its probably even worse for successor models too

     @ferrarilegends @Granwalder @PvtProperty All you need to know about the ferrari ownership experience is to look at Turo and note how many “good deals” are being cheese-gratered into nothingness just to stay running.

     @Rayfield @WashedOutGundamPilot @Granwalder @PvtProperty i forget about the exact specifics but for the 360, they had 2 ECUs one on the left side of the car and one on the right and they were serialized with the same part number on both ECUs so you'd end up needing to buy 2 ECUs and make sure they have the same part number on each if one of your ECUs broke beyond repair.
