Poland was in a state of constant border wars with all its neighbors the entire time leading up to ww2. They were chomping at the bit to take back land they saw as theirs and had large amounts of commies or at least willing to work with commies to get their goals done. If Hitler does not go on his european tour in 36 probably before the end of the decade or mid 40's poland would of just been helping the ussr invade europe so they could get some of their land claims for helping. The poles are never to be trusted just look at how they act today on the ukraine situation.
