  This is the shit you see when company's stocks take a nosedive and they want to recoup as much loss as possible. But we're supposed to hear that there's constant growth and shit. Finding ways to monetize everything and relying on wealth extraction strategies is just not a growth strategy.

Self-hosting media is expensive, and relying on crypto-only for income streams cuts off like 80% of your customer base. They probably have (as I have always said) been in a slow death spiral, watching the bulk of their audience fall away each cycle, increasingly relying on the most die-hard core fan base who pays out the nose.
  Most operations like this will have a couple well-heeled guys chipping in a couple hundred, even a couple thousand dollars every so often because they believe in the cause.
  Just look at anyone w/ a patreon from 10 years back. They have a rise, then a slow fall where you see their monthly income slide from $XX,XXX down to $X,XXX….then, as they slack off and become increasingly bitter, hateful towards the faithful that remain, $XXX.
