     @RikaDerufu I was gonna joke that the only REAL way to watch them was the “remastered” VHS copies…..but when I found a pic of them it turns out that’s literally recommended as of 2014. I don’t think disney will release the original-original versions w/o all the CGI shit (b/c lucas loved them so much he had to have stipulated it as part of the sales deal)

     so the best is either autismo fan recreations or VHS tapes

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @RikaDerufu In the mid too late 90's they re-released all three SW movies in theatre , I went to go see all three of them , had a great time. It was also the first I saw the "enhancements" Lucas made , the redone death star explosion and the added in CGI celebration scene from ROJ. Little did I know that George was setting the stage for "Han shot first " infamous scene.

     honestly, Star Wars is entirely dead to me at this point. I don't even really want to watch the originals any more. Even if I see a cool Star Wars t-shirt, I have no desire to buy it because 1) My old memories can't get past how much Star Wars just sucks ass now, 2) giving money to disney for destroying their product.

     Back in the 2000s, someone on MySpleen made DVD-R ISOs from the classic Laser Discs. They even made DVD jacket covers/inserts. I made a couple for my roommate and think I might still have mine in a box somewhere.
