But the selection in the dating pool is a huge problem that has nothing to do with dating podcast talking points, man. In my area there are these categories of women; pillheads, coal burners, independent roasties, half n half squaws, a decent size orthodox russian community, and the decent Christian women who were proud of where they grew and married early to high school sweet hearts or family friends.
I have one friend (fit/ from money) who had children by a pill head, and he fled to Arizona with his parents to escape that mistake. I have another friend (thin but not terrible looking dude, makes high income) who's been married twice, and is trying hard to keep the second wife since they had 2 kids together(they had separated after the first). Anecdotal, but the selection pool is a big problem you're not addressing for guys with looks, strength and money who should otherwise be in a longterm relationship with the mother of their children.
