     @CatLord @BitterPill You have to earn a cat’s love, whereas a dog’s loyalty and worship is given freely. It’s indicative of a state of mind. I’m a human, animals owe me their fealty and love, and cats refuse to abide by those rules. I’ll dote on dogs for hours because the time is invested in a faithful, useful working companion.

     A cat is just…..there eating up resources and doing nothing for me, while waiting for me to worship it. We’re too good for that.

     @CatLord @BitterPill I just find IRL guys who like cats to be incompatible with me, they’re always off-beat. I don’t get that mindset. Cats are cute and all, but mostly assholes….and people just laugh it off. It’s like a guy with a cunty wife who hates his guts, I just look at him in bafflement.

     I was just working with this guy who was always talking about his utter bitch of a wife like it was cute she was so disrespectful and mean.

     “haha you know when you retire and your wife tells you to get a min wage job to get out of the house? hahah, being married to asian women is so cute hahah lol”

     Similar vibe as the cat guy at work bragging about getting his shit all scratched up like it’s cute to subject themselves to that. It’s demeaning to yourself to allow it.

     I'm glad I'm not the only one. I remember once hearing (in paraphrase) "my cat bites my face while I sleep, it's so cute." and I just had to sit there to try and digest that.

     @CatLord @BitterPill Just talking about the patterns. Everytime a guy talks about how he likes cats more than dogs IRL I’m like “yeah that figures, you gross me out”

     We’re just on diff. wavelengths. It’s also weird how many slavs are really into cats. Further proof of how alien they are to me.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @CatLord @BitterPill I see a larger problem that's related to this with the ever increasing attention, effort and devotion directed towards a pet you own in absence of this kind of time given to your friends and family. I know people that say they'll never have any children—their dog is all they'll need. Your dog or any other kind of pet will never be a person let alone a replacement for a child and family.
