   If you want to see a complete list of someone's followers and follows, the most reliable method is to look at the account's "original page". On Mastodon's web interface, do this by going to a profile, clicking ︙ and then "open original page".

   This is obviously not an ideal solution. If you're comfortable using Github, you can vote for this to be fixed by giving a thumbs up at https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/20533

     You can follow them all individually, but there's no "follow all tags" button.

     @feditips I really do like #Mastodon but for me this is the biggest problem it has. It can be hard to find people to follow especially when just starting & for me this is the reason why. I don't want some marketing agency's algorithm to show me people it thinks I might find interesting; when I follow someone I want to see who they find interesting & follow, have a quick scan through & go "Oh, they look cool. Follow them, them, them, them & them." I don't know why it's not that easy.

     Judging by the discussion in the issue linked above, I don't think it's fundamental?

     I am not a dev though so I can't really comment on it first hand.

     Isn't this a fundamental problem in how Federation works? I'd love for it to be fixed but it seems like something that would have to be addressed at the protocol level.

     If it's not an attachment, the only way you can add alt text is to describe the image in your post.

     Question for you.When someone, including myself, inserts a URL into a Mastodon post it often results in an image from that webpage being pulled into the post. That image does not contain AltText description which is needed for blind users. Is there a way to either add the AltText in that use case or to prevent the URL from pulling an image into the post?
