     @dew_the_dew didn’t commit to either stopping or rolling. He wants a go around, but kept aero braking by yanking back on the yoke and wasting his speed. Had he just kept the nose low and built speed he could have flown low and maintained effective control if he got out of that wind shear or whatever

     @dew_the_dew Stuff like this is why it’s fun to play around in flight sim w/ a good model of your ac, you can figure out a little more what it’s capable of. In that guy’s shoes, the second It turns into the hangars I’d be using it like a takeoff runway, keeping the nose low, building speed in ground effect, and prepping for an angry phone call when they see me climbing out from the hangar row

     He’s goosing the throttle to gain speed, while creating as much drag as possible like he’s trying to come to a stop.

     Understandable, because panic stopping isn’t a skill on the ACS
