I don’t even recognize most of the german stuff like this, those guys really needed to pare down their fleet to something with like, 15 aircraft types instead of 170

Paultron-3030 (paultron@poa.st)'s status on Saturday, 07-Jan-2023 05:41:33 JST Paultron-3030 @WashedOutGundamPilot German fleet was heavily standardized compared to most nations. Their fighters were p much all 109s and 190s- different variants of em, sure, but the same general design. the Ju87 soldiered on for way longer than it had any right to right up to the end, and the 110 platform wore tons of hats from battlefield support to night interceptor. this level of standardization was actually fairly harmful since there are only so many engines and guns you can throw at an ancient airframe design like the 109, it still won't compare favorably with more modern designs
compare this to the japs with 5 fighters alone or the americans throwing P-40s, -47s, -51s, 39/63s everywhere without even mentioning the naval planesWoggy's Zeonic Frolicks likes this.
