     Sometimes it gets to -34.5C in the winter around here and exposed skin will freeze in less than 5 minutes.

     The heat only affects the fats, js. Otherwise you’ve never spent time in a super cold area, you can’t put more stuff on past a certain point.

     Basically Canada.
     
     It doesn't happen often, but there is always at least 4-6 weeks where it doesn't get above freezing in the winter.
     
     It doesn't always get THAT cold, but -25C is pretty normal for at least a week.
