Why does Android use only FAT32 for external storage when there always seem to be problems copying from ext4? Is it not Linux? fFffff google.

okay the best thing I can say about it is that it makes it impossible for anybody to copy your files, no matter how badly they want to.
And it has encryption, too. Which I’m sure only locks out the dumbest 3rd worlders

It has more features that make it more fit for a NAS. The problem with removable storage devices is that they need to be readable by the rest of the world. linux can read just about anything, but the same isn't true for mac and windows. FAT32 happens to be the lowest common denominator, unfortunately. Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks likes this.
