     @AnFashSchizo First time I had a black in my class I didn’t want to be in her group for activities. I knew there was no reason to be afraid of touching her, but I knew that I instinctively felt a refusal to regardless.

     @AnFashSchizo The older ones in the family used to be much better, having remembered living amongst the blacks. The least racist any of us were was “I dont mind black people…I just hate niggers“ but I get the sense everyone is getting more and more tired of pretending that “black people” even exist anymore

     @WashedOutGundamPilot When I was in later grades in elementary, I got sucked into the “we’re all the same” stuff, i didn’t really feel off about any of the black friends I had (the very few I had, but this was mostly a population thing) just right off the bat but something felt strange about one story about racism one of them told me about. Maybe I intuitively thought it was a lie, or perhaps I knew regardless of whether it was true, it was an implicit demonization of a people I’m a part of, or maybe my tummy hurt because I couldn’t stop eating chocolate pancakes for breakfast. As far away as the memories are, the more blurry the conclusion

     @MeBigbrain @AnFashSchizo Once I got to HS the only blacks in our new school were the occasional black professionals (uncle toms hated by their own) and the adopted niglets. That too began my slide into being hopeless for their kind - every reason in the world to succeed, all kinds of special treatment, and they STILL caused problems for everybody.

     Worse, there’s a special kind of arrogance they develop, because they get all kinds of kindness from whites looking to prove how non-racist they are. Creates a spoiled monster….but now we’re doing it civilization-wide

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @MeBigbrain @AnFashSchizo I knew a young black guy the older blacks would try to buddy up with. When they gave him the "we gotta stick together" spiel, he'd look around confused and say "We? Ain't no we!"
     
     One day we're working and he says "Man I'm not like them, I hate those people!"
     I said, "Who?" And he leaned in and real quiet said "Niggers!"

     @MeBigbrain @WashedOutGundamPilot Actually I just remembered there was one in middle school that, while we were just merely acquainted, we were riding home on the bus and at some point, I did the black power salute and he did a Roman salute. At the time it was the funniest shit ever.

In high school I was friends with one from middle school that was alright with me calling him a nigger. Besides him, I mostly just stayed away from them. Served me fairly well, all things considered
