     @Terry This is why I kinda hate silver fans. If you buy it for anything other than hefting it in your safe and clinking them together at your desk, you will only ever know disappointment.

     Bought my first batch at like $24 spot right out of high school, thinking it would guard my money (also went w/ bitcoin at the same time, but didn’t trust it nearly as much as silver) while I ended up leaving the country for a while.

     In the end its basically only hovered within 10% of that price, despite the fact everything else in the country rising by 40%. Ugh

     @Terry Despite half my life being filled w/ disappointment, I still see 22 yo retards excitedly telling me them and their subreddit can somehow outplay the international jew and sell all this silver for $120/oz a year from now.

     I feel similarly about the bitcoin truthers thinking they’re outplaying the gov with it, ignoring how much they’ve wrangled the infrastructure under their control to negate the advantages of crypto and relegating it to a niche weirdo purchase (or heat sink for excess money supply).

     Just the fact that they got so many people to scream and buy in when bitcoin was $30,000-70,000 only to completely crater again hurts to watch. How’d their magic anti-inflation nega-fiat do in a time of soaring inflation and monetary malfeasance? Down 80%. Oops.

     Just need guys to be real and stop thinking you can strike it rich as an unemployed day trader. It’s painful to listen to

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @Terry I bought a bunch of bulk coins and scrap a while back. Since have refined the scrap and made kewl ingots, figurines, etc. The small leftover bits made a few first aid tinctures with.
     I don't see the value of silver skyrocketing or anything, it does have heirloom value at least.

     @Whitewall_Blasphemy @Terry That’s how you enjoy it. It’s a cool hobby, I like some of the sculpts I have in rounds, I use them as gifts and lucky additions to my vehicles (fam tradition), but I’m not going to sit here and listen to jobless bumbs tell me they’ll be millionaires “a couple years from now” because they bought a bunch of silver rounds for five bucks over spot.

     Everyone under 25 seems desperate to catch this hypothetical bull run. They really think 2021 pt II is coming soon
