I don't really worry too much about this side of the fedi. If it comes to it you can count on US, your valiant users, to eventually say gamer words one times too many and have us defederated. But if this is true:

What do you mean by bleeding people unto fediverse? Wouldn't the nuclear toxic wasteland be Thread itself, since disturbingly it already has 30 million users.

I'm betting day one. I think just the shit I say would be enough to get Facebook to block us.

"Your mom can't see your posts because she's on a 'plus Facebook' instance." is an underestimated incentive. I think it's likely to have the opposite effect, though; I expect they'll bleed people into fedi.
