     @StoleMyThundersBalls @ChristiJunior Jackson was not involved in the Constitutional Convention of 1787, so he is not considered one of the founding fathers. He is nevertheless THE most badass president America ever had, and in opinion the most truly American president that America ever had as well.

     He took a massive shit on bankers, injuns, and judges and gave no fucks. I will say Teddy Roosevelt was objectively pretty badass in his own right, but Jackson was better politically.

Admittedly that's not all that much, but just installing Supreme Court justices willing to take the tamest Boomercon positions was a bar Reagan couldn't consistently clear, and of course the Bushes were worse still.

I feel like history will be kinder to him than it should simply because of how cartoonishly gay and degenerate his contemporaries are, as the failed hero who kinda but not really fought back against American decline.
