     @folkcafe good eye 🤣 I have all the old adobe stuff prior to the move to HD.. I mainly play with audio but was trying to teach my kids how to edit videos and it’s just too much for my MacBook Pro 🤣

     One thing that’s kept me from getting a new one is the dreaded task of migrating the software / plugins 😭

     @folkcafe thank you! I’ve already gone through the switch to Mac OS!

     This is what I needed to hear 🤣

     My MacBook Pro is struggling with video rendering.. I used to be involved before HD was a thing 🤣

     @c00p I figured if you were shopping Sweetwater, you were interested in either audio or perhaps video production. I use Final Cut Pro. Most editing software has been heavily optimized for Apple silicon including Premiere and Davinci. Still some older plug ins have been left behind but I took the opportunity to upgrade to better new ones.

     @c00p My background is media production. Apple silicon is a game changer in this space. Processing intensive tasks like 4k video editing is impressive. Over the years I've built Windows based video workstations and it is an endless struggle to get all the parts to work. The adage that "it just works" is apt in this case. The biggest struggle is when you are a PC person transitioning to Mac OS. Learning a different OS can be challenging and takes a bit of time.
