@c00p My background is media production. Apple silicon is a game changer in this space. Processing intensive tasks like 4k video editing is impressive. Over the years I've built Windows based video workstations and it is an endless struggle to get all the parts to work. The adage that "it just works" is apt in this case. The biggest struggle is when you are a PC person transitioning to Mac OS. Learning a different OS can be challenging and takes a bit of time.

I use Final Cut Pro. Most editing software has been heavily optimized for Apple silicon including Premiere and Davinci. Still some older plug ins have been left behind but I took the opportunity to upgrade to better new ones.
