minute (mntmn@mastodon.social)'s status on Friday, 30-Jun-2023 07:16:29 JST minute @ChartreuseK i think it's a consequence of another short downstream and big overcurrent event. also the LM2677 itself can be damaged and output a too high voltage, frying downstream chips. so far i think i had 2 boards that were globally destructed in this way (still fixed them, but it takes like 4-5 hours even with experience)

Chartreuse (chartreusek@mastodon.sdf.org)'s status on Friday, 30-Jun-2023 07:16:31 JST Chartreuse @mntmn I still need to try to repair mine again or send it in. Not sure what caused it to pop the second time after the repair as nothing appears shorted.
