     @ArdainianRight @Tony @Humpleupagus @furgar my brother in christ. whether you think it was the titanic, or the olympic that sank, the boat was full of water (due to being submerged in the fucking atlantic ocean) and water is non-compressible. the pressure inside the vessel was equal to the pressure outside the vessel at all times. therefore no implosion.

     That's a fair point, I saw a Redditor post where someone was reading carl sagen (however it's spelled) and couldn't understand most of the words and they were asking why not?
     
     The just realized they never learned higher than 8th grade reading level.

I remember when i was learning to read, how as the books i was reading got more complex, and i became a better reader, the sheer volume of knowledge i unlocked the ability to understand. Seriously dude, It is an absolutely invaluable skill to be a good reader.

     I work with a lot of low income housing unfortunately and he is absolutely correct.
