     I hate it when liberals who commute tell me that I'm killing the planet. I literally live 2 miles from my office, I work from home most days, and most hearings are via zoom since covid. I hardly drive. I do eat a lot of steak though.

     The irony with cow farts is that the cattle population is roughly equal to the bison population before we slaughtered them. So it's carbon neutral really.

     @bonifartius @Moon I won't even say people eat too much meat (some may), but I do think the ways we farm could be improved to limit runoff and make it easier for the local environment to filter the waste. Smaller herds on grass instead of a feed lot would give us better (healthier) meat and be kinder to the planet.

     @thatguyoverthere @Moon the absolutism is the bullshit. people probably eat too much meat, but eating sone meat is a necessity if you want do agriculture on soil and in climates where only grass grows without using loads of artificial fertilizer.
