I always liked this guy, TBH. He was a total dickhead, yeah, but he was a great way to make the unit come together in unanimous cohesion against a common foe while pushing the boys harder than anyone else before the untested, brand-new kids entered battle for the first time. He’s a solid trainer….just not a combatant.
I think that’s probably the one of the better training systems, where the introduction is hard, super strict, and absolutely 100% to regulation, so guys at least get a taste of regulatory ‘perfection’ before going out into battle and rolling back their rule following to a more sane and achievable standard.
I was curious about this guy, turns out his life didn’t turn out so good.
