@blueknightfrank I get liking a villain but supporting them just seems depressing. Like I enjoy hazama and terumi but ultimately they are really shitty assholes that literally thrive on human suffering. Also I'm tired of the trend of depressing cbt sessions that keep popping up in media lately. It's why I couldn't stand walking dead or any of those types of shows or that Tlou2 crap. :jahy_dead:

@rainignterror1080p I like variations I however do not like contrarian for the sake of contrarian. Especially same mfer who haters power fantasy

When reading a book, or watching a show, if I discover that the author just wants me to suffer with the protagonist for hours... I hit the eject button.
If I wanted to suffer, I'd just watch the news.

@Minty @blueknightfrank same reason why I dropped A Tale of Ice and Fire and the subsequent Game of Thrones show.
I get it that conflict is the essence, and things can't be all good all the time, but it seems that guy has a hard on for making villains insufferable and getting things their way while any person who is minimally decent gets screwed, and there is a point where it gets tiresome.
