   MMT’s core “insight” is a tautology, but already well understood by other economic disciplines.

   They pay lip service to the problems with money printing right up until they prescribe printing shittons of money to fund their pet projects.

   This one is particularly funny because they are basically trying to wish away the effect of money printing by casting moral aspersions on (only one of many) drivers of inflation.
