     @teratology kind of been the case for a while. The argument for akkoma ended when custom emojis got implemented elsewhere. Since then it's been destructive, not creative, of features. It has become prescriptive in a bad way, too, like its effort to preclude block bots.
     
     The abandoned part might be new tho
