Their stuff pre-war is fine, it’s more rooted in reality than what came later. All the ‘modern’ stuff is gross. Clockwork orange, hitchhiker’s guide, downton abbey, red dwarf, it just doesn’t jive with my frequency. My ancestors didn’t like something about them, that’s why they gave ‘em the finger and went to become frontier settlers on the other side of the world
