     @Wormwood Negroes evolved monocular vision as a defense mechanism against buckbreakers. The males, for obvious reasons, had to watch out for Massa, lest Massa's cock permanently ruin him for all negresskind. The females, however, also had evolutionary incentives - if Massa was breakin' her man in front of everyone, monocular vision would reduce the degree of trauma by lessening the visual importance of events in the dead center of her vision.
