     That’s a real market force but I don’t think it even accounts for even a majority of this stuff. It also has a sizeable cost in alienating a large portion of the market. It’s perfectly normal for brands to niche down, and really focus hard on their niche, but it’s never been the domain of (nor a very good idea) for giant mass market corps to pull this kind of shit.

     The fact conservative grifters keep popping up is proof positive that there is a massive unserved market, left (it seems) intentionally unserved. That is on its face piss poor business practice, unless of course you really desperately need lines of credit from people who demand non-business-oriented things…

     @ademan@thebag.social i mean it is the free market though, except the target audience is generally white liberals who see the rainbow and feel in a slightly increased consumerist mood due to faint tribal effects from prostituting the minority groups that the white liberals positively fetishize. minorities who enjoy being economically fetishized are mostly useful idiots but identity politics is already retarded and fetishistic identity politics is usually offensive to the pawned group anyways, what i don't get is how people don't recognize this, they're like "why do scantily clad women in bikinis want me to drink generic beer brand"
