The Blade Runner setting just focused on the cool, gritty, and sexy cyberpunk elements and not so much on the cracked pavement, trash, and homeless people shitting everywhere. Cyberpunk fans forget that cyberpunk settings by definition are not places that are healthy for most of its inhabitants to be, nor is it a place they enjoy living in.
