     @wishgranter14 @Mynona That kind of mentality is only really applicable to Orthodox and similar Jews, and is relevant insofar as rightwing Jews shill for Israel but don't actually give a shit about the country they reside in. Reform Judaism is only superficially connected to historical Judaism and is an insane universalist clown shoes sham of a religion similar to Unitarianism. Jewish wokeshit might have ethnic resentment as at least a partial motivator, but it's not really connected to a historical religiously Jewish worldview.

     @Mynona Contrary to how most people perceive them, the Jewish religion is based around their group identity, and all their religious festivals are about the slaughter of their racial enemies. Like, Hannakah. People within the Selucid empire wanted the Jews to assimilate into the larger Greek culture that dominated the Mediterranean. This was unacceptable to the Jews, so they revolted, and even murdered one of their own to prevent it from happening.
     
     Contrast this with other religions. Christians revere Christ for his selflessness and generous virtues. Buddhists revere the Buddha for his wisdom. These religions are not inherently racist. Judaism is. This is why you have atheist Jews like Sarah Silverman. And just because they don't believe in the Abrahamic God, doesn't make them any less racist than those who do.
     
     People don't understand why Jews are disliked, because they never really thought about what their religion actually is. They project Christian values onto them, when they very much reject Christ.
     
     Note: I'm an atheist. I just wanted to point that out so that you don't think that I'm proselytizing.

     @ArdainianRight @Mynona Well, Sarah Silverman is afaik a devotee of woke, and she's as ethnically jewish as you're going to get. I'm sure she celebrates Hannakah, even if it's not in the same way the orthodox do.

Modern Judaism converts the older ethnocentrism of keeping to oneself to maintain purity as the chosen people into a modern, messianic universalist ideology where the Jews are chosen to remake the world in their own image. The ethnic narcissism remains even if it's converted to a totally different purpose.

     Others call them the 1%, others "elites" or "lizard people" or whatever the fuck it doesn't matter. They disproportionately have control over large areas of life that are apparently intent on fucking the rest of us. And the worst part is they're not just grouped together by something as basic as having the same genitals, most of them share a tribalist ideology that literally views the rest of us as lower beings.
     
     So yeah, lots of people dislike them, it's nothing new. The media just happens to be ran by them, so the propaganda spin is always very pro-jew.
