Hell, even less than two decades ago, normies were much more computer literate than they are now. They actually knew how a file system works instead of it behind hidden behind "apps".

     There's a reason Terry Davis saw the c64 as the peak of home computing. Compare something from that era or dos with what came afterwards, like Windows 9x or the iPhone.
