@Sultry @haberdasher @teknomunk @PraxisOfEvil @Shadowman311 Failed endeavour to whom? They have already won, the EU has passed rules to ban ICE vehicles by 2035, and the companies making ICE cars will take the next decade to start phasing out ICE in favour of electric cars.

It will bankrupt some of them, it will make regular people's lives more miserable and expensive, and they will be without independent transport, limited to using public transport which will likely be just as bad in 2035 as it is now, and under the control of the government who can decide to ban unvaccinated from it during a pandemic, etc.

They don't care, people's lives already got more expensive and more miserable due to environmental regulations and that's a feature not a bug. It's a death cult where people's lives are sacrificed in the name of "the planet". They'll get away with it, and double down.
