     @professionalbigot69 @nugger IIRC it was part of the spec to use an AR too, that’s why it’s not an -18 style buffer system.

     Also love that they don’t issue it w/ a suppressor when it’s supposed to be an ejection survival weapon

     @professionalbigot69 @nugger I know the cloners were happy to see it. I doubt it’s gonna be used any time soon. Sans suppressor it’s more of a feel-good blanket than anything, even WITH it’s not all that useful.

     The old survival rifles were meant to help you feed yourself if you ejected hundreds of miles from your team, not meant to fight your way back home on foot. The extra firepower is cool and all, but it’s so damn loud that anyone who knows there’s an ejection for 20 miles will come running to cash in the bounty on the airman.

     But you’d feel better w/ 90 rounds of 556 than 100 .22s inside a single-stack 10 rd mag, I guess
