     ...not sure about them but i'm going to stop watching via the web and *only* download and watch from now on, for the rare cases where there's a video i want to watch there.
     
     I lived most of 2006-2013 without being able to watch youtube videos (because they were flash based and flash did not work on my system), and although there's things I would definitely miss (sargon of akkad) this has been a long time coming

     @jeffcliff @kirby @valere every time I land on a piped instance it complains about javascript. I actually have this tamper monkey user script I use to make it so when people post youtube, twitter, or other supported links I get a redirect from farside.

     @kirby @valere @jeffcliff you think? It's just looking for anchor tags with an href that matches the regular expression and turning it into a farside redirect link. It does it on an interval because of infinite scroll and javascript being able to change the document.
