   As a reminder, tech is *not* a "flourishing industry" nor is it "in demand"

   I've submitted over 3,000 resumes since 2018. In that time I've gotten zero callbacks. This is with years of experience being a top performer. That's roughly how "in demand" tech is.

   Coercing your children to play with STEM toys won't guarantee them a place in this saturated field. Skills certainly didn't guarantee me one.

     No, they said my "clothers" were bad and that I should buy a nice suit. Then they bragged that they got a gig with a 6 week "boot camp" cert and that the reason I'm not getting callbacks is because I play video games.
