   FWIW there’s actually some hope in libraries still, but you have to be smart about where you’re going. In my travels I’ve found a wonderful sort of library where it’s surrounded by semi-suburban, high-dollar homes outside the fair-sized metro areas. Hit those up and you’ll probably find…..well most of the time there’s no marriage-age women but the atmosphere is very nice. Lots of space, private work rooms for the nicer counties, and plenty of friendly people eager to have a convo with a handsome stranger passing through.

   If you’re wife hunting….eh, closest thing to a library is heading to a campus and chilling in their education building. Just say you need the wifi, that’s what I used to do. Met 2 short term gfs that way.

     @xenmen And when I’m talking “campus” your most fertile wife-hunting grounds would be in one of these same library areas, where it’s upper-middle class area with a satellite campus for a state university or community college. That’s where you’re gonna find a girl who’s just going through the motions to “get a job” while hoping for a man to whisk her away.

     Is this layout common? IDK, but I’ve seen it enough times to notice a pattern throughout the mid/western USA. While flying over the country I’m always surprised at how the same patterns seem to apply so regularly, so there’s a fair chance you could find a place with open parking and and a school library to mooch off of.

     @xenmen When I was roving around for work I’d often have a lot of time to kill in out-of-the-way places. If you wanna know the good libraries, they’re usually surrounded by 80%+ white areas with homes closer to $1M, kinda happy place. Coudl find a nice lady w/ a girl in her circle that would match up well as you get to know her

     That's a good point. Actually there've been some nice marriageable age women at small bookstores in my region, different situation than a library...
     
     But yeah, there's smaller towns in my region with libraries I haven't been to, I think I'll test that in the winter months. Right now is beach/camping season :0000:

     I've started doing some work with a temp labour company, seems like a great way to do some short term traveling...
