Yes.
Its the reason GaysSweatshop won't rest until they turn Warhammer into an explicitly Liberal universe.
We been lucky so far every attempt was easily some of the worst pieces of writing the brand has ever seen.

@Samhydeigger Very interesting take. Wouldn't that mean that Warhammer 40k, with it's fascistic denotations, serves our interests? I've heard the criticisms that it isn't fascist at heart, but this thread makes the argument that connotations don't matter when appealing to normies.
Also reminds me of what little I saw of RWBY; it has a shitlib fanbase but a lot of right-wing connotations early on (government/military is corrupt, armed citizens have to defend their own homes from an external threat being aided internally by a racially motivated terrorist group)

@Aviz @MeBigbrain @Samhydeigger That is a beauty of the 40k universe.
The lore of what is right and what is wrong is so clearly set it stone that to turn it modern and gay would require pretty much starting from scratch.
Any attempt is going to be so contradictory to lore that it would sound like it was from a different franchise.
Plus, 40k is the easiest franchise for its fans to aggressively gatekeep.

@EssentialUtinsil @Aviz @MeBigbrain @Samhydeigger That's about the best attempt they can do. They can't really push White man holding us back or gay shit.

@EssentialUtinsil @RaHoWaJoe @Aviz @MeBigbrain @Samhydeigger It can be as based as I want it to be. I painted a Chaplain Grimaldus with Servitor Retinue. His slaves I painted all as niggers

@Dan_Hulson @EssentialUtinsil @RaHoWaJoe @Aviz @MeBigbrain @Samhydeigger Hey I'm down to 178 now. 12lbs in 4 weeks
...I am a nerd though, I won't dispute that

@RaHoWaJoe @Aviz @MeBigbrain @Samhydeigger In the lore, hopefully. They are more aggressive when it comes to the ttg though, openly telling non-shitlibs they don’t want them as customers. (Their ‘warhammer is for everyone’ thing). The lore will probably just get stale and boring without going to the other extreme.

@DEERBLOOD @Dan_Hulson @EssentialUtinsil @RaHoWaJoe @Aviz @MeBigbrain @Samhydeigger Sub 180, you're no longer a fatty boombalatty! Now you're just a McFat.

@MeBigbrain @Samhydeigger >40K isn't fascist at heart
The absolutely repeated message of Warhammer 40K, when it comes to the Imperium of Man, is survival.
We must embrace absolute fascist, militaristic, societal unity, if we are to survive as a species in the galaxy of 40K.
Any amount of compromise would appear to be a chink in the armor of what should otherwise appear to not just aliens, but the imperium itself, as impenetrable. Thus any dissent must be stamped out with ruthlessness and zero tolerance, because the alternative is fragmentation and ultimately extinction as a weakened, split humanity.
Fascism isn't only employed by the right, of course (see communism), but Warhammer 40K's Imperium of Man is absolutely not left.
They enforce strict hierarchies, because there simply isn't enough for everybody. There must always be a well-equipped, well-supplied military force to repel the mutant, the xenos, the heratic.
If the military didn't get the first pick of resources, there would be no society. No civilization. So the choice is between living in squalor on the street, be a worker with +12 hour daily shifts, or serve as cannon fodder in the regular Imperial Guard, or death. You either deal with it or die, because no alternatives can be allowed to exist. Everybody must give their all, but not everybody gets equally in return for their labour.
In short, fascism is the natural order, as it's the only way we'd survive.
In the grim dark future of the 41st millenium, there is only war.
