   @realcaseyrollins @Sprate No, bluesky handles are similar to NIP-05 IDs. Your real ID under the hood is a DID, but you can associate a handle from any domain by adding a TXT DNS record pointing to your DID, and then updating your bluesky profile with the handle.

     @alex @Sprate @realcaseyrollins bluesky will burn in a month when users realize it has the problem gab does: you have no chance of being seen by anyone outside your circle. Those using "mastodon" have this issue already. They'll then go back to big social media.

     @PhenomX6 @Sprate @realcaseyrollins They might have the resources to do moderation better. I basically think if one party doesn’t want to interact with another party at all, it doesn’t matter what the other party thinks. It’s a problem when both parties want to interact but a middleman prevents them from doing so. We’ll see I guess.

     I mean they already mentioned a tagging system which can be made by communities or third parties and automated content and user tagging. That shit just sounds like #fediblock on steroids
