     @Dicer I’ve come to appreciate them as part of the greater female form, I dated a track chick for a time and she didn’t even have nails on her pinky toes because of her marathons. Having a girl w/ dainty, clean, soft feet now is downright luxurious in comparison.

     She just’s really proud of them, to the point she seems to think her 10/10 primo feet are going to waste if I’m not losing my mind over them all the time.

     @professionalbigot69 @Dicer I’ll rub them sometimes but I rub the rest of her all the time so it’s not that stand outish. It just bugs me, there’s a power dynamic w/ the whole thing, brings to mind childhood games where you stick your stinky feet in someone’s face. Just because we’re adults doesn’t make it a non-offense. It’s like, presumptive, or a little rebellious on her part.

     It’s the same kind of refusal I have to put my head in her lap to be coddled like a little kid. Some code in my brain ensures I don’t go along with those sorts of things

     @professionalbigot69 @Dicer Eh, not happenin. Maybe a peck at most, when she’s been really good or something. Not sure when that would be though. By now it’s been built up into such a big thing it’s like a trophy, I’d have to give in as a kind of recognition for efforts elsewhere.

I’ve been wanting to plant a row of them all along the ditch but I haven’t had the time to get it done. In my head I had this plan to free myself from buying chicken feed w/ the amount we’d be able to grow, but nobody wants to help me out on it….whcih means it’s not happening. I’m gone too much

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @weaf @professionalbigot69 @Dicer >Determinant potatoes (such as Yukon Gold) only form new potatoes in a single layer right above the seed potatoes. Indeterminate potatoes and most fingerling potatoes keep forming new tubers but no more than about 12” above the seed potatoes. So in a potato planter like above, you will not increase production by mounding dirt or straw to more than 12” high.
     You can grow potatoes to some extent with this method, but the yield is much less than advertised. I believe the biggest issue is that it just doesn't let the foliage grow to collect enough light. You can do a bit better by letting them grow out the sides into a big bush, but it's still not that great.

     1: with hay/straw
     2: with soil
     
     Neither method worked well. They both seemed to draw more pests in.
     
     What is the best depth for planting potatoes?
