@SuperSnekFriend@ChristiJunior@HeavenPiercerYama Genderbender stuff has been in anime forever. The problem with LGBTQ+ isn't so much that it deals with unconventional sexualities/gender nonconformity but that it rewrites all of them into a metaphysically retarded Civil Rights/Cultural Marxist context as opposed to simply acknowledging gays, crossdressers, weird fetishes, etc. and then uses said framework to smuggle in the most batshit insane and perverse shit as a moral imperative.
@SuperSnekFriend@HeavenPiercerYama The character has a 100% female body tho, right? I've just heard about this anime in passing, but that's my impression at least.
@ChristiJunior@HeavenPiercerYama The premise is that the hikkimori main character, Oyama Mahiro, gets transformed into a girl by his/her/I don't fucking know what to use's sister, Mihari, after Mihari gives her brother a potion of some kind. The first few episodes is MC freaking out and dealing with [pick the pronoun] problems of now being a little girl
To be honest though, the whole genderbender premise is all but dropped in favor of loli antics and dealing with going back to school because society sees Mahiro as a kid rather than an 18 years-old legal loli. People watch it for the loli fanservice anyways and not because it's some artistic tranny propaganda. It's more like Ranma in that regard, rather than Steven Universe or that gross transvestite hero show Hasbro tried to push out last decade.
@SuperSnekFriend@ChristiJunior@HeavenPiercerYama What I really hate about trannyshit is how much they poison gender nonconformity by promoting the least healthy "solutions" imaginable to deal with it. Having both masculine and feminine aspects of your personality is totally normal, but apparently now it means you have to make yourself into a disgusting freak to "resolve" this, as opposed to just accepting both your body and personality for what they are.
@SuperSnekFriend@ChristiJunior@HeavenPiercerYama being in school while im a well grown adult and worrying about all of that is a surprisingly frequent genre of nightmare i have :awoo_scared4: i cannot say ive ever been a loli in my dreams
@80085@ChristiJunior@HeavenPiercerYama Souka! Did you do well in school? Did you have lots of pressure put on you during school and college years? :senko_hmmmm:
@ArdainianRight@ChristiJunior@HeavenPiercerYama@SuperSnekFriend I'm noticing a lot of teenage girls (on, let's say, Discord) going by "they" pronouns or going further and thinking they're dudes because they're into interests like videogames. Back in my day that didn't mean you chopped your breasts off too.
