     Here we see the problem with boomer/tech illiterate parenting; they don't see tech as the problem but think that "if I use apps designed for kids it's going to be pedo free".
     
     Silly normies, apps that are designed for kids are pedo magnets and anyone knows this. Also thinking that kids aren't going to have a shitty $20 tracfone they're going to use to communicate to dudes online when the phone's taken away (hey guess what people smuggle phones in their ass in prison). He then used a VR headset to communicate online. Do you want your kid to not talk to groomers online? Just give them a Windows 98 box or some shit.
     
     Of course even crazier the parents though the cops/big tech would do their job (they won't lol) and they still let him play Playstation. I knew groomers on PSN, yeah he needs only a PS2 or something.

     @PhenomX6 The full scope of the smartphone era is foreign to them. Neuroplasticity declines after 30 and you don't have friends with firsthand knowledge of how Zoomers operate. They're just kinda running on autopilot from their own childhood.
     I would be very interested to see firsthand how they handled the situation and the details of what happened. Was the kid really in the hands of a master manipulator, or was he more lonely and isolated than the parents are letting on? If he had a gaming addiction and wasn't getting healthy social contact, that would make him especially vulnerable.

     I'm sure he was more lonely and isolated as most modern parents are tuned out as fuck. Hence why you're seeing people online choose between shitty online groups and IRL life especially when parents get involved.
