     Uh no. Men were created before women. Their existence is not contingent on women. Eve was a gift from God to Adam. And with that gift came both privileges and responsibilities. So yes, there is some expectation for men to provide for women. But it is not the purpose of their life. Whereas women do exist to be a blessing to men. But we messed that up pretty early on!

     True, I've seen it happen first hand multiple times. Men are not to let themselves be vulnerable to women. They view it as disgusting.
